2. Principle

GewerbeCheck.at is a static information website. We collect as little personal data as possible. This website uses no cookies for tracking purposes.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you visit the website, server log files are created automatically. They contain your IP address, browser type, operating system, referrer URL and the time of access. These data are not combined with other data sources.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing the website).

4. Analytics

This website does not embed any analytics tool. No script is loaded from third-party servers, no tracking pixel is set and no cookie is written. That is why you see no consent banner here: there is nothing you would have to agree to.

We read how often pages are visited only from the Cloudflare server log files described in section 3, which arise anyway when a page is delivered. Only aggregated totals are evaluated (views per page, country and date). No profile is created, and the data do not leave Cloudflare.

You can check this: open your browser's developer tools (F12), go to the “Network” tab and reload the page. Every request goes to gewerbecheck.at.

5. Contacting us

If you contact us by email, your details are stored to handle your request. They are not passed on to third parties.

6. Rule-change alerts (email notification)

On the trade pages you can ask to be notified when the legal situation for a trade changes (“Rechts-Radar”).

Which data: your email address, the trade you chose, the language, the page on which you signed up, the version of the consent text, and the times of sign-up, of sending the confirmation email and of confirmation. We do not store your IP address for this.

Purpose and legal basis: sending the notifications on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; for emails also § 174(3) TKG 2021, the Austrian Telecommunications Act). So that nobody can enter someone else's address, a confirmation procedure applies (double opt-in): you receive notifications only after you have clicked the link in the confirmation email. The confirmation email contains no advertising.

Storage period: we delete unconfirmed sign-ups after 7 days. We keep confirmed sign-ups until you unsubscribe; when you unsubscribe, we delete your address for that trade.

Withdrawal: you can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future: with one click on the unsubscribe link in every email, or by email to kontakt@gewerbecheck.at.

Processors: we store the sign-up data with Cloudflare (see section 3) in a database that, according to Cloudflare, runs in its Eastern Europe region. We send the emails through Mailjet (Mailjet SAS, Paris, France); Mailjet receives your email address and the content of the email for this and logs the delivery. Mailjet's open and click tracking is switched off for every email. We send plain-text emails, without tracking pixels and without tracked links. Emails to kontakt@gewerbecheck.at are received by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

• access to the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
• rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
• erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
• restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
• data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
